The Adtemp Tympanic IR Thermometer from ADC instantly and accurately measures core temperature readings from the ear.
Convenient Features: With this thermometer no probe cover is needed, decreasing costs and enhancing convenience. It is 5" long and has a compact, ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the operator's hand and the patient's ear. It features a large illuminated display that is easy to read and it remembers up to 12 readings. An audible alarm sounds when a fever of at least 99.5° F is detected.
Specifications: The thermometer can be switched between Fahrenheit and Celsius and it has a 1 second response time. An auto-off feature conserves the battery. Its dimensions are 6" x 1.2" x 1" and it is safely latex-free. The thermometer comes complete with a storage/travel case and a lithium battery. It meets ASTM E1965-98 standards for accuracy.
